Aida Wilde is an Iranian born, London based printmaker, visual artist and educator. Her outdoor installations have been shown at Glastonbury Festival, Adblock & Croydon Rise Festival, among others. Currently showing Art Made During the Lockdown in an exhibition disCONNECT, an international collaborative project between Schoeni Project and Hong Kong Walls. 

Her HASHTAG series has been used in subversive projects with Brandalism in Paris to highlight climate change in response to the COP21 Summit, as well as the global project Subvert The City, the world’s first coordinated international ad takeover.

More recently, she has been collaborating with Help Refugees UK CHOOSE LOVE campaign on a number of projects that have been exhibited in Somerset House and Saatchi Gallery. 

Sara sat down with Aida to talk about her work, passion towards a more equal world, the vanishing artist community in Hackney Wick, activism, and much much more.
